Lingerie for you...er, your sweetie!

So Valentine's Day is just around the corner and if you still haven't found the perfect gift....I say go for lingerie. I love lingerie and I often disguise my many lingerie purchases as 'gifts' for the BF. I think he's finally caught on that they're really gifts for me which just happen to benefit him! Even if you aren't celebrating Valentine's Day (whether it be because you feel it's a made-up holiday or if you're living life as a fabulous singleton), use this occasion to add to your boudoir attire.

Here are some sexy little things that have caught my eye recently:

Blush Lingerie - www.blushlingerie.com

Blush Lingerie is a Canadian company based in Montreal. The Bay carries the Blush line and you can also order online from www.barenecessities.com. I heart ruffle undies!

La Senza - www.lasenza.com

La Senza, often touted as the Canadian sister of Victoria's Secret (they're both owned by the same parent company), always carries fun and flirty lingerie. Their products are usually well priced and you can find a La Senza store in every mall across the nation. Don't have time to visit a La Senza store? You can shop online at their website.

Victoria's Secret - www.victoriassecret.com

Oh Vicky. She has helped many clueless men find the perfect outfit for their ladies. How cute are those V-strings in the middle? Even better, they're 3 for USD$30.

Agent Provocateur
- www.agentprovocateur.com

Although most of their attire is out of my price range, I can't help but covet Agent Provocateur. Their lingerie is always unique and made out of high quality fabrics. If you live in Vancouver, which is home to the only Agent Provocateur store in Canada, and haven't gone in to explore, you MUST! Their customer service is top-notch and you will feel like you've stepped into a lingerie store in Paris.

Christine Vancouver - www.christinevancouver.com

Christine Morton is the creative genius behind this Vancouver based high end lingerie line. Oprah recently worea pair of Christine Vancouver silk pj's on the cover of Oprah magazine. Christine is having a Valentine's Day sample sale from February 12-13. Visit her site for more details.

Jacob Lingerie - www.jacob.com

I don't usually shop at Jacob for lingerie but their recent line caught my eye. Better known for their practical and comfortable bras and panties, I was surprised that they infused some 'je ne sais quois' into their collection. Sexy no?

Whether you buy something for yourself or for your sweetie, remember to find something that's makes you feel sexy and is likely to end up on the floor beside the bed!

I know a lot of girls think lingerie is pointless...but I love it. You chose to post good pieces, all so beautiful.

I was shocked when I saw a LaSenza in the UK! That was when LaSenza was still a Canadian company (founded by a CEO of Suzy Shier, I believe). I have no idea if there are still LaSenzas in the UK not that Victoria's Secret owns it.

There are still La Senzas in the UK! I saw one in London last year. It was cool to see it made it over there.

Awesome - that's so funny when you're abroad and you see something from "home" ... even if it's a lingerie store.
