Anyways, let's get back to business, shall we? I'm super excited to announce our A Hot Pink Petticoat Giveaway. Intrigued? I'll let Alison, the mastermind behind this Toronto-based event planning company, tell you what A Hot Pink Petticoat is giving away.......
What better way to get through the winter blahs than have a 2 hour consultation with Alison Kelly, Founder/Party Director of Toronto-based A Hot Pink Petticoat. This contest is open to anyone in the Greater Toronto Area who is in the midst of planning a killer party who would love someone to bounce their ideas off of. No strings attached!
So for those of you planning an event (does not have to be a wedding) in the GTA, or know of a friend who is, do not miss out on entering into this giveaway!
Here are the deets:
1) Leave a comment here telling me why you should win the free consultation session.
2) For an additional entry, follow A Hot Pink Petticoat on Twitter (http://twitter.com/HotPinkPetti) or leave a comment on Alison's blog at ahotpinkpetticoat.blogspot.com. Be sure to leave me a comment here that you've done so.
3) Maximum 2 entries per person. Contest ends Monday, March 1st at 11:59PM EST.
4) I'll announce the Winner on the following Wednesday.
5) Open to those who reside/planning an event (e.g. wedding, anniversary party, elopement) in the Greater Toronto Area.

Wow! Hot Pink Petticoat has such a great blog. I would be thrilled to have a consultation with her. My fiancé and I are getting married in October, and have most of the big details nailed down already (venue, photographer, DJ, etc.). What we would appreciate help with are the little details that add style and flare to the wedding - without bursting the budget.
What is still up for grabs is transportation, invitations, decor for the venue (we are considering not decorating the church), and the give away (fiancé is Italian, and I have no experience in that area). Also, we need some guidance with the bouquet toss and the garter - I am against it, but I think that is a battle that I will be losing...
Thanks for this contest! Oh, I am following on Twitter - I am @TalkingColleen
hahah. so, as an american, I can't say i was disappointed with the outcome last night.... but good game!
...if only I were Canadian... :)
thanks for letting me know about the giveaway (and the comments issue!)
I'll definitely post about it and pass it around. I'll be back in Southern Ontario in June, so count me entered!
I'll tell everyone I know in T.dot. Most of my crowd is already married but one of them must know someone who is engaged!
This is my second comment for the follow on Twitter
I guess I should tell you why i need the consultation! We're really trying to do most things DIY, which can be difficult and overwhelming when you've never planned an event before. I'd love to get her opinion on how everything will come together - to make sure I'm not over-doing things or forgetting something with a lot of impact!
ps. I commented on her blog too!
Oooh, I would love to win! I'm busy planning my girlfriend's bridal shower, my own baby sprinkle (for second baby-to-be in May) and would love to organize a Toronto blogger meetup! Sounds fabulous!
I would love to win this for my girlfriend who is getting married in October. This is the first marriage for both her and her fiance and they are over 45. Most of the wedding guests will be older family members however the age range will be from 1 month to 90. The wedding is being done on a tight budget but with great taste. This would be fabulous to win to help her out with the planning and to save her fiance from having heart palpitations!
Thanks for the great opportunity!

My best friend is getting married this year and I would love to win this prize for her! She just spent the last few months on an exhaustive search for an inexpensive but gorgeous GTA venue, and now has no idea what to do about the decor, etc Nothing has been started. She's completely open to ideas. Help me, help her. Please. :)
